Brenda Thomas

She was a lifelong Vol fan, avid animal lover and voracious reader.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Carl Hatmaker, husband Ed, and

granddaughter Amanda Disney.

She is survived by brother Jerry and wife Betty Hatmaker; son Michael Paul Disney;

stepchildren Kenneth Thomas and wife Sonya; Tommy Thomas and wife Nicole; Shana Jenkins

and husband Eric; granddaughter Lurena Disney; step-grandchildren Stephanie Owens and

Nicholas Jenkins; great-granddaughters Charisma Disney and Serenity Nance; and her beloved

cat, Rufus.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation and gratitude to the exemplary

caregivers at Arbor Terrace Knoxville.

A visitation for Brenda will be held Tuesday, July 2, from 12:00 PM to 1 PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 1 PM with Dr. Frank Catanzaro at Weaver Funeral

Home, 5815 Western Ave, Knoxville, TN 37912. Following the funeral there will be a graveside

service at 2:00 PM at Woodhaven Funeral home & Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Rd.,

Powell, TN 37849.
