Bruce Dewayne Burnett

Bruce Dewayne Burnett, age 49 of Sweetwater, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 10, 2019. He was a former truck driver and before that took pride in his work as a CNA. His greatest accomplishment was his family. Preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Short; daughter, Susie Burnett; and his beloved four legged companion Bertha. Survived by his parents, Don and Cathy Burnett; Daughters, Brooke and Bradley Paul, Tori Fowler and Juan, Dakota Burnett and Dylan, and their mother Melissa Burnett; Granddaughters, Susie Sarvey, Emersyn Paul, and Loreli Paul; Brothers, Dennis Burnett, Donnie Burnett, Darrell and Gina Burnett; Nieces and Nephews, Dean Fowler, Ella, Catlin, Ryan, Devyn, Mark, and Ashley.

Bruce was born and raised in the Clinton, Oklahoma area and lived in or near Stuart, Florida his adult life and moved to Tennessee in 2004 to be closer to his mother Kathryn Short. Bruce loves fishing and camping and anything zombie related, books, comics, movies and tv shows. He was a very strong willed man and will be greatly missed by his friends and family. The family wishes to thank the many caregivers who helped him over the years, especially the Fresenius Kidney Care Skyway in Sweetwater, TN. A private interment service will be held at a later date in Madisonville, Tennessee. Bruce will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.
