Carl Sellers, age 93 of Knoxville, passed away, December 28, 2024. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and Papaw. Carl was a very active member of Third Creek Baptist Church and was recently recognized for 80 years of active membership. He was a veteran of the Air Force serving during the Korean War. Carl was a certified Prosthetist for 53 years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Cecile, and his wife of 61 years, Phyllis Sellers.
Survived by children, Marvin (Lisa) Sellers, David (Tricia) Sellers; grandchildren, Stacie (Danny) Parkins, Stephanie (Don) Hardcastle, Kelly (Aaron) Hiscock, Jessica (Paul) Karr, Amy and Matthew Sellers; great-grandchildren, Emily and Cade Parkins, Will, Lizzy Kate, Seth Hardcastle, Bodhi Hiscock, Cade Karr, and many extended family and friends. Family will receive friends Monday, December 30th at Weaver Funeral Home from 5-7 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 31st at Third Creek Baptist Church at 10 am, with burial to follow at New Gray Cemetery. Dr. Rodney Duncan officiating.
