Covington, Carol Lynette – 60, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 26, 2010. She was of the Baptist faith and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include husband of 41 years, Kenneth Covington; 3 sons and daughters-in-law: David and Crystal, Daniel and Donna, and Tim and Brandi; 2 daughters and sons-in-law: Cathy and James, Dana and Mike; 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 8 pm with Rev. Donnie McNabb officiating. The family will meet at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home at 12:30pm on Thursday, April 29, 2010 to go in procession to Asbury Cemetery for a 2 pm interment.
