

Carol Ann Doucette was born November 3, 1942 in Memphis, TN. She was a blessing and a beacon of kindness to everyone who had a chance to meet her smiling face. Carol never met a stranger and enjoyed sharing and learning the stories of everyone. She both loved & excelled at many hobbies throughout her life such as sewing, cooking, painting, and traveling with family.
Carol cherished her friends and neighbors, was in bowling leagues, looked forward to yearly beach trips with friends, making goody trays at Christmas, and treasured her time dancing on Club Dance. She was a beautiful dancer no matter if it was salsa, square dance, or east coast swing. But above all she loved her family, and to be called Mimi by those who were blessed enough to know her as such. Carol is preceded in death by her loving husband Barry F. Doucette; parents Mary Jane & Carl Jamison, and brothers Charles Richard & Carl Jamison Jr. Carol is survived by her daughter Mechelle, son Michael and wife Diane,Suzanne and husband Chris; granddaughter Nicole and husband Jeremy, and granddaughters Leann, Kayla and her husband Bryan, and grandson Chris. Also, her six great-grandchildren Mason, Lily, Jackson, Adam, Dean & Allie. She is also survived by her brother Jack and his wife Sue, and several nephews and nieces. Carol will be missed by several friends & neighbors. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Tuesday at Weaver Funeral Home with service to follow at 6pm. Family and friends will meet 9:45 am Thursday, September 3rd at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy. for 10 am graveside service.
