CAROLYN F. KIRBY HURST age 79 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Parkwest Hospital. Retired from Whirlpool Corp. and worked part-time at H&R Block. Preceded in death by parents, Daniel and Mildred Kirby and brother, Robert L. Kirby. Survived by husband, Wayne Hurst; daughters, Jan (Paul) Waldroop and Lisa Joffe; granddaughters, Carrie (Nate) Hardin, Melissa Waldroop and Danielle Joffe; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Friday at Weaver Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 am Saturday at Edgewood Cemetery for a 10 am graveside service.
