Catherine Ellis

Catherine Johnson Ellis passed away suddenly August 14, 2026. She was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. Catherine is preceded in death by husband, Robert Ellis and parents, Howard T. and Willie S. Johnson, Sr.; brother, Howard T. Johnson, Jr.; sister, Bobbie Collier and brothers-in-law, Dean Cooper and Roy Collier and buddy, Bailey Jon.

Survived by siblings: Evalyn Cooper, Paul (Ann) Johnson; nieces, Deana (Fred) Dillon, Donna (Scott) Looney, Shawn (Lisa) Breskow, Terry (Kathy) Collier, Melodie (Cyrus) Pour, Tonya Johnson, and Cary (Donovan) Howard; Great-nieces: Laura Reuss, Sara (Brian) Fox, Mason (Lacey) Dillon, Chloe Pour, Azur Pour, Abbey(James) Cooper, McKenzie Fox, Brielle Fox and great nephew Cruz Fox and great-great-nephew, Kaiden Pour.

Catherine will be missed by many friends and relatives including her special friends, Joan Conley, Bertha Mayes and Bobbie Smith.

Family and friends will meet at 11:15 am Tuesday, August 18th at Piney Grove Church Cemetery for an 11:30 am graveside service. Weaver Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ellis family.
