Catherine Worrell

She was a loving wife and sister and she was of the Baptist Faith. Catherine was a school teacher at various Knox County schools for 30 devoted years.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, William and Olivette Cherry; grandparents, Charles and Margaret Brown; step-brother, Bill Cherry; and her uncle and aunt, Harry and Jo Brown.

Catherine is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Robert Worrell; step-sister, Tara Cherry; and other family members.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37919, with a Graveside Service to follow in Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.

The family would like to acknowledge the loving care given to Catherine by Tennessee Cancer Specialists and Parkwest Medical Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Catherine’s honor to the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley, 6717 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37919.
