Cecil Edward Brown

BROWN, CECIL EDWARD - age 78 of Knoxville, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 13, 2010. Cecil was a faithful member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, Lenoir City, Tennessee and a member of Woodlawn Senior Saints. Cecil was retired from Allied-Bendix Corporation. Preceded in death by loving wife; Reba Kathleen Taylor; parents, Robert Webb and Vera Becham Brown; brother Robert Webb Brown Jr. Survived by brother, Elvis and wife Mary Ann; sister, Cordie Ellen and husband, Herbert Pulley, all of Waynesboro, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Ruby Taylor of Kodak, Tennessee; children, Randy and wife Linda of Knoxville, Mike and wife Brigitte of Blaine, Jackie and husband Bennie Whitaker of Sharps Chapel, Deana and husband Chuck Sisk of Louisville, Kathy and husband Garry Wallace of Hardin Valley, and Jerry and wife Donna of Blaine, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a lot of special nieces and nephews. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Receiving of family and friends will be Monday, March 15, 2010 from 6:00-8:00pm at Weaver Funeral Home. Mr. Brown will lie in state Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, Lenoir City, Tennessee. Funeral service will be at 2:00pm with Pastor David Latham officiating and assisted by Evangelist Randy Brown.
