I remember the good times not the bad. You gave me 3 beautiful grandkids that I love.  Its was so sad hearing you were gone and so young.  

I never wanted anything more badly than to have a relationship with you. I treasure every good moment I’ve spent with you and I miss the times when you were always there when I needed you. You always said exactly what I needed to hear and you would never miss a moment to remind me that I was your sweat pea. I’ve loved you my whole life and I’ve missed you so much over the years. I would’ve given anything to have spent more good years with you. I love you Daddy. 

Chad I always looked up to you as a big brother because you always looked out for me like one! I will never forget all the times I came to you for advice and you told me the hard truth about everything, what I needed to hear, but didn't want to. You were one of the smartest, most caring, straight up friends I have ever had. I was truly hurt when I heard the news and have been thinking of you, Beth & Bo ever since. We haven't seen each other in a while, but I know you would be proud of me living my life like the responsible young lady you always told me I was and could be! Love -Little Jess 

Hello again my sweet angel! It has been one week, one day, and 8 hours since you left me. People say time heals but I seem to feel worse. I don't have to try to convince you of how much I love you or how much I need you because I know you know. The thing that absolutely kills me is the pain you must have been feeling in that moment. It's almost unbearable for me to think about. I would give anything to be able to rewind time and take that pain from you. I would gladly endure it for you. But we both know you would never let that happen. No one has ever loved me so unconditionally or so selflessly. You were true blue. You spoke your mind no matter the consequences. I NEVER heard you gossip about anyone in 16 years. If you had something to say, you better believe you said it right to their face. You always made me feel loved and wanted. More than anything, I could trust you. They could throw you into the Playboy Mansion, and sure you would look at all of it (you were after all a straight man)  but there is no doubt you would end up telling them all about your "wife,"  you would keep your hands to yourself, and you would come home to me and probably tell me all about it. You knew trust was at the top of the importance list for me, and I never had to worry about you. That's rare. Chad I hope you're reading all the things people are writing about/to you. So many loved and respected you. I watched you change over the past 3-4 years into a different person. It's like I watched your heart just get bigger and bigger. It was nothing for you to hand a homeless person a $100 or a $20, but you never passed anyone without giving them something . I will love you the rest of my life. Aaron is taking this very hard. It was just last week he told you to chill on the motorcycle because he didn't want to lose you. He is devastated but he has also been my rock and by my side through all of this. It's still hard to believe.... Chad was a guy I only knew for about a year and I had nothing but respect for him. We had things in common that were funny and coincidences that made us both laugh our tails off. You will be missed by alot of people Chad. Just the person you were made you a really good dude. Prayers to his family and friends. 

I wish I was better at writing. Everything that I start to write just doesn't sound good enough. There are very few people in the world that I like. Usually it takes years of knowing someone to earn my trust or that I would call friend. In the 7 short months I've known you, you nailed them all. A straight forward kind of guy that if you liked someone you knew it was genuine. You are gone too soon. My heart is broken for your loved ones, but most of all for Beth. There was never no doubt who your woman was and that's what I respected the most about you. My favorite memory would have to be the time I came over and after you let me in you headed back to the kitchen. I closed the door and started following you when Bo came out in the living room and growled at me. You spun around and said " Did Bo just growl at you?" Laughing I said yes. Right then he picked up his bone and shuffled off to the bedroom. You busted out laughing and exclaimed " he thought you were going to get his bone!" Lord I hadn't laughed that hard in a while. Bo is such a small pup and looking at my big ass we figured he thought I was going to eat it!!! Priceless! Please know I loved ya bro and very few have ever gained my trust and friendship like you. Man I'm going to miss the hell out of you. You just don't know


Chad,  wow I don't even know what to say! I know you always picked on me and messed with me like the brother I NEVER HAD and I used to think ya hated me but I realized one day that's HOW YOU SHOWED YOU CARED and I guess I just always thought you'd always be there to aggravate the living HELL OUTTA me and pick on me LIKE ONLY YOU COULD! I LOVE YOU BROTHER AND I SO DREAD TELLING ERIC TODAY THAT WHEN HE GETS HOME YOURE NOT GONNA BE THERE TO PICK ON HIM LIKE ONLY YOU COULD! THAT HES NEVER GONNA GET TO HEAR HOW HE WAS THE UGLIEST PERSON WHO RODE BITCH WITH YOU ON YOUR BIKE! He is gonna be devastated and we WILL MISS YOU BEYOND WORDS! SHOW JESUS HOW TO MAKE HIS BIKES GO FASTER AND GET THE MOST HORSEPOWER POSSIBLE! LOL I LOVE YOU BROTHER AND GOD YOU WILL BE SOOOOO VERY MISSED! RIP GOVNAH!1

I heard of Chad thru my son. Told me he met a funny guy that was some older than himself but liked the guy. He and his lady would go eat where my son worked sometimes. Over time i kinda got to feelin like i knew him too. For my son to like him was a compliment to Mr. Strobecks' friendliness cuz he doesn't bring many people close. I could tell it hurt my son to hear the news of Chads passing and so it bothered me to hear of it from him too. It's always very painful for family and close ones to live and go on with daily life at these hard times that come to all of us sooner or later. I didn't know Chad but my son made me feel like i kinda did. And i think that's somethin special for a person to be able to leave that to someone that had never met him! Chad, im so blessed to have had you as a friend. You were like a big brother even though Im older. I will never forget you. When I needed help you were always there. I feel lost. Man,  I love you with  all my heart I promise you I will help watch over Beth, I love her too. My heart is broken but I do know heaven got an awesome angel, yea I know  that's where you are cause Good hearts like yours belong to God. I can’t believe I am even writing this, you were such an amazing person, and friend, you were there for me when I had no one! You will be missed my so many! I’ll love you always chad! Rip 

I just wanted to share this picture that I love of you! We have had some awesome times especially these past 2 years. You could do ANYTHING! You were so intelligent and more than anything you would help anyone that needed it! You were larger than life and there is no doubt many many people will miss you!

I will be writing a more in-depth obituary in a little while but I just wanted to say that I love you so much baby. I am hurting so bad. I just want you to walk in the door. Wherever you are, I know you will keep watching over me and have my back. I will see you again one day. I am so happy to have been loved and to have loved so deeply.  I love you.

Never forget: Covered in mud!

Man this one really hurts. Chad was such a funny and outgoing guy to be around, that always managed to make anyone around him have a better day. He had such a big heart, and I guess that's why he never hesitated to help anyone who needed it, in any way. I feel somewhat selfish for wanting Chad back down here and with us, because I know he is finally pain and worry free running the streets of heaven, just like I bet he wanted. I will make sure to carry your name and memories with me everywhere I go bud, and until I see you again, tell my brother and dad hello for me up there and keep an eye out for me as well down here pal. You will truly be missed beyond explanation !!
