Charlene Gwyn McNiel Goddard

Charlene McNiel Goddard went to be with her heavenly Father on March 10, 2022. She graduated from Bristol Virginia High School and Carson Newman University. She has been a long time member of Meridian Baptist Church, the "Young At Heart Choir", L.L.L. and Couples and Friends Sunday School Class.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Goddard, her son, Dr. John E. Goddard, parents, Guy and Bess McNiel, older brother, Eugene McNiel, older sister, Betty Knowles, triplet sister, Charlotte Lynn McNiel, and triplet brother, Charles Glen McNiel.

She is survived by her brother-in-law: Joseph Knowles, niece, Kathy Knowles Haldeman, and nephews: Michael Goddard and Jerry Goddard.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Dana Fachman officiating.

Charlene will be laid to rest in the Goddard Family Cemetery, in Lithonia, Georgia.
