

Charles F. Kelley, age 75, born October 25, 1946, passed from this world to his heavenly home on November 3, 2021 at home with his family, after a hard fought battle with a chronic illness. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Hudson Grove Baptist Church. He attended Karns High School. At the age of 18, he joined the Marine Corp and was shipped to Vietnam. Upon his return, he attended a dance at Karns, where he met the love of his life, Marion Campbell. He was an expert brick, block and stone, mason that was in high demand from several area homebuilders. An avid sports fan of the Washington Redskins, Tennessee Vols, NASCAR and the Atlanta Braves, whom he watched win the World Series. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence F. and Justine Kelley; in-laws, Mabel and Buster Campbell; grandparents, brothers-in-law, Eddie and Allen Campbell, and Kenneth Pryor. Left to cherish his beautiful memory is his wife of 55 years, Marion; children, Tina (Dean like a son) Robbins, Rev Rocky (Kim like a daughter) Kelley; grandchildren, Ashley (Chico) Leese, Hannah (Stephen) Eldridge, Jordan, Noah, Lexie, and Madilyn Kelley; great-grandchildren, Aiden Martin, Tre(Shelby) Leese and Alexis Leese; sisters, Shelba (Don) Roark, Joyce Russell, Linda (Ron) Collins, Edith (Dean) Schrimpsher, Janice Pryor; brother, Bill (Chris) Kelley; sister-in- law, Linda (Larry) Daniels; numerous nieces and nephews; best buds, John Massengill (deceased) and Lenny (Shirley) Hutchison. He will be loved and remembered by everyone he met. Family will receive friends Saturday at Weaver’s Chapel from 5:00-7:00 pm with service to follow at 7:00 pm Rev. Jack Chapman officiating.
