Charles Kenneth "Buddy" McJunkin, age 88, born April 28, 1934 in Etowah, Tennessee died June 25, 2022 in Florence, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Sue McJunkin, parents, Thomas Homer and Susie McJunkin; brother, John McJunkin; son-in-law, Stephen Oliverio; mother-in-law, Sue Akers and father-in-law, Alfred D. Akers. Buddy was employed at Bowater Paper Corporation for 41 years. He played football at Tennessee Wesleyan University. He loved his family, University of Tennessee Athletics, his granddogs and other pets and any old movies.
Survived by his three children, Barbara Susan McJunkin, John Kenneth (Annette) McJunkin and Patricia Lyn Oliverio; four grandchildren, McKell Oliverio Quattrone, MD, Kennedy Anne McJunkin, Michael Seaver Oliverio and Connor Kenneth McJunkin; grandson-in-law, Tyler Quattrone
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and ASPCA, his favorite charities, and St. Elizabeth Hospice team in Edgewood, Kentucky.
