Charles Samuel Swann Sr.

Charles Samuel Swann, Sr. age 77 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Thursday April 8, 2021. He was a graduate of Young High School, served in the U.S. Navy, owned and operated Do-Rite Paving Co. and Swann Builders. Charles loved to work and fish and was baptized at Sevier Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents, Charles Amos Swann and Edith P. Swann Justice; sister Sheila Swann. Charles is survived by 3 sons, Charles Samuel (Sammy) Swann, Jr. (Becky), Chase Swann and Jordan Swann; granddaughter, Taylor Swann; sisters, Sylvia S. Woods and Sharon Davis (Jim); brothers, Jessie Justice (Jannelle) and Doug Drake; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday April 10, 2021 from 11-12 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Matthew Shears officiating.
