Charles Franklin Thomas

Charles Franklin Thomas age 92 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Saturday February 18, 2023. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, retired as foreman from Detroit Stoker in Monroe, MI. Charles loved farming, a master in small engines and loved to tinker with machinery, car and motorcycles. He was preceded in death by wife, Hazel Sweatt Thomas; parents. Henry and Myrtle Thomas; son, Michael Thomas; several brothers and sisters. Charles is survived by daughter, Melody (Duane) Johnson; grandchildren, Danielle and Matthew (Rachel Welch) Watson; great-grandchildren, Raelyn and Rosalie; several nieces and nephews and family members and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 12-2 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy, service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends will leave in procession to Berry Highland South Cemetery for Interment.
