Kaye was preceded in death by her father, William “Bud” Rogers, and her mother, Ruby Gibson Rogers.
For 39 years, Kaye built a life of steady work and quiet excellence as a master barber. Over the years, she ran multiple salons before opening her own, Heads Up Quality Cuts—a place shaped by her diligence, care, and the thoughtful attention she offered to each person who sat in her chair. Her work was more than a profession; it was one of the many ways she showed compassion and made others feel seen and valued.
Kaye dearly loved her husband of 42 years, Howard “Keith” Crowe Sr. Family meant everything to her, and she treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, brother, sister, and loved ones. Holidays and family gatherings were among her favorite times—moments filled with food, stories, laughter, and the kind of memories that remain long after the day is done.
Kaye’s love for home and tradition could be found in her garden and in her kitchen, where she enjoyed canning and carrying on the practices she learned from her mother. She also loved camping, a joy rooted in time spent with her daddy, and she especially enjoyed the simple peace of sitting around a campfire in the company of those she loved.
Those who knew Kaye will remember not only what she did, but the love she gave. She had a faithful way of caring for others—family, longtime friends, and anyone in need—offering kindness with sincerity and generosity, giving even when she had little to spare. Her legacy will live on through the family she cherished, the friendships she built, the traditions she passed down, and the countless lives touched by her devoted and beloved presence.
Kaye is survived by her husband, Howard “Keith” Crowe Sr.; her daughters, Rebecca Campbell (Chris) and Elizabeth Manis (Mike); her son, Keith “Junior” Crowe Jr (Kristi); her grandchildren, Hannah Campbell, Alivia Manis, Bentley Crowe, Emma “Rosie” Crowe, Mason Manis, and Savannah Manis; her brother, Kenny Rogers (Tiffany); her sister, Tammy Milligan (Pat); her niece, Amanda Piper; her nephew, Patrick Milligan; and her dogs Charles Henry and Coco.
A Celebration of Kaye's Life will be held Tuesday September 1, 2026. The family will receive friends from 6pm-7pm. The service will begin at 7pm. Services will be held at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 5766 Sevierville Rd, Seymour, TN 37865 officiated by Pastor Greg Wolfe.
