Christine Taylor

Christine Taylor of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024. It is with sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who left us at the age of 83. A master of the art of quilting, she wove threads of kindness and care into every pattern creating not just blankets but heirlooms that will wrap us in her memory for generations. Christine was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved to travel everywhere and also cherished her church crafting group and quilting community. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles E. Taylor. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Bunch (Jeff Bunch) and Missy Taylor (Annie Eubank); grandsons, Andy Bunch (Sarah Bunch) and Chance Bunch (Abby Braden) and her four great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Finnley, Fisher, and Beau. The family will receive friends on Tuesday 6/11 from 5pm-7pm at Weaver Funeral Home with the service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. Barbara Clark is officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45pm Wednesday 6/12 at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 1:00 pm interment. Condolences and memories may be left at www.weaverfuneralservices.com.
