Missing you is the hardest thing I've ever done. McCoy told me today, "Mommy I bet Uncle Chris is so happy to be with Jesus." I said..."I know he is buddy...I know he is." I am having to wrestle a lot more without you here, I still think I hear your footsteps every morning...I know you are with me so I'll carry that feeling with me forever. If only I could have saved you. I love you little brother.

I love you brother. We were born on the same day in the same hospital, just mere hrs separate our birth. I have Jocelyn's name tattooed on me. I'm sorry we weren't on the best of terms when you left. I'm sorry that we won't get to make that right until I see you again. I just wish I could hug you. I love you brother. You'll always be my brother.

I met Chris on "Water Day" in kindergarten when he would not stop following me around with a Super Soaker and drenching me. He was so mischievous! We went through elementary school together as close friends, more like brother and sister. Through the years our lives changed but we have always stayed in contact. We both lived in Southern California together for awhile and him being there felt like family to me. I will miss the hikes we went on, the long talks, the way he made me laugh, and the way he always accepted all of me. A true friend. I love you Chris.

Chris was my first crush in elementary school. He had an infectious smile and was never in a bad mood. I still look back fondly on all the times he made me laugh so hard milk came out my nose. I'll miss him. My deepest sympathies and prayers to his family and friends.

My heart is broken. I love you always, Chris. Although I'm relieved your suffering is over, my heart will always wish for you to be here. I will always keep you close to me. Always.
