Christopher V. Powell, age 56 of Knoxville passed away Friday August 7, 2015 at Tennova Hospital. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was of the Baptist Faith, and avid Tennessee Football fan. He was employed by Roden Electric Co. for 13 years, before his disability. He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Powell. Survived by his mother JoAnn Chandler Powell, brother Mark Powell and beloved children Joshua and Brittany Powell, many aunts, uncles and cousins, devoted friends of Highland Condo’s and special friend Duane Miller. The family will receive friends Monday August 10, 2015 from 6:00-8:00PM at Weaver Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Tuesday August 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery.
