It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of “Corky”, age 62, on August 12th, 2025. A devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Born on June 22, 1963 in Dallas Texas, “Corky” was the only son of Clarence O’Connor Corbin Sr. and Ann Orgeron. He is survived by his wife Sharon Corbin and their four children, Cheyenne, Serene, Derek, and Joshua, as well as his four grandchildren, Roman, Brooklyn, Forrest, and Atticus. He was the oldest of four siblings, and is also survived by his sisters, Jenny Edwards, Sage Swaim, and Caroline Garza, and is beloved by his many nieces and nephews.
He spent his career helping Whole Foods build their brand across the country. He was a great lover of books and music, and surely the Dallas Mavericks’ biggest fan. Known for his calm and quiet demeanor, deep affection for his family, and having the sharpest wit, he was always the rock in the storm for his loved ones. Smart but humble, he loved to lead and mentor. He will surely be missed by all of those whose lives he touched.
A celebration of life for Clarence will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932.
