
Tucker, Cleo Lee, born January 15, 1922, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 19, 2014. Cleo was a lifelong member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church and very active in all of the activities of the church. She retired from the Knox County Codes Administration office. She was a 60 year member of Eastern Star Acacia Chapter and a former member of the Knox County Republican Women. Cleo was preceded in death by her husband, Basil W. Tucker, Sr.; parents, Henry C. Lee, Sr., and Sarah Compton Lee; sister, Anna Jean Silvey; brothers, Henry C. Lee, Jr. Jesse Lee; sister-in-law, Faith Lee; and brother-in-law, J. B. Stanley. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Jim Pritchard; son and daughter-in-law, Basil W. Jr., (Butch) and wife Jean Ann Tucker; grandchildren: Jimmy Pritchard, Lisa and Tim Jones, Nathan Tucker, Jennifer and Jeff Vergiels; great-grandchildren: Tyler, Jake, Logan, Lindsey, Mackenzie, Kylah, Lily, and Willow; very devoted sister, Bertha Stanley and sister-in-law, Barbara Lee and Jim Raines; brother-in-law, Chuck Silvey; sisters-in-law: Helen Lee and Wanda Lowery; nieces and nephews: Rella, Debbie, Mark, Chris, Eric, Andrew, and Phillip. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Nurse Practitioner, Lisa Ridenour and her nurse, Wynette Bowles for their love and compassion. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 1615 Price Avenue, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 Noon at Shiloh Cemetery, Pigeon Forge, Rev. Dennis Ford and Rev. Richard Richter officiating. A celebration of Cleo’s life will be held at Hillcrest United Methodist Church at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, Rev. Richard Richter officiating.
