Clun Edward Hill, age 87, of Knoxville, TN went home to be with the Lord and joined his beautiful bride on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. He was a member of South Knoxville Church of God where he played the fiddle for more than 20 years and served as a deacon. We can just imagine he's fiddlin' for the Lord now. He proudly served in the US Army, a true patriot for God and country. Clun had a huge heart and prioritized above all God, his family, and his country.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley Hill; parents, Archie and Estel Hill and brothers, Elbert, Lewis, and Kenneth Hill.
Clun is survived by his loving daughter, Angela (Dennis) Dickey; grandsons, Kenneth Hill, Shane Dickey and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 5, 2021 between the hours of 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at South Knoxville Church of God, 5623 Magazine Road, Knoxville with a service to follow officiated by
Rev. Jerry Laudermilk. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at East TN State Veterans Cemetery, Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville for a 2:00 PM Committal Service with full military honors.
