TROUTMAN, CONNIE T. – age 60, of Seymour, went home to be with the Lord, after a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). She was a long time member of Seymour First Baptist Church, a 1970 graduate of Young High School, and a retired employee of University Cardiology. She is survived by her husband, Don Troutman; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Troutman; father, James Thomas; sisters, Teresa and husband David Kear, Kathie and husband Fernando Navas; brothers, Mike Thomas and Steve and wife Melissa Thomas; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Family will gather Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 1:45pm at Woodlawn Cemetery for a 2pm graveside service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to ALS Association, The Tennessee Chapter, P.O. Box 40244, Nashville, TN 37204. Family will receive friends at Seymour First Baptist Church, Chapman Highway, Seymour, on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 5pm to 7pm. Condolences may be offered online at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.

To the family, I remember Connie when she and I first worked together at JC Penny downtown. She was so sweet to help me learn and we had such a fun time. She was a lovely person. Her crown is shining in heaven. May peace and Gods comfort come to you as time goes by. Love You Barbara Ensley
