My sincerest condolences to all of Dana's family, especially her husband John. Dana always brought a smile and laughter to any room she entered. I met Dana in 1995 through some friends I had from Franklin. She was the kind of person you felt you'd known your whole life regardless of when you met her and the kind of friend you just picked right back up with the next time you saw her. I am deeply saddened by this and keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I would call Dana with a work question and we would always fall off the subject and talk and laugh. Last time I saw her we talked about her holding on to her last bit of hair. She was determined to keep it. She was there to offer comfort when my dad passed. She heard my heart and my grief. She was such a faithful friend and a beautiful light in the dark of this world.

Dana was a very special niece. Very sweet, a cute giggle and was an ‘Eternal Optimist.’ I remember walking through some extremely tall trees with her and we Laughed Out Loud because they seemed to ‘come alive’, like the Walking Trees in Fellowship of the Rings. Dana, every day that I look at the sun, I will be thinking of you and your playful childlike innocence. Love You Forever to the Infinity Power!!! 💗 XOX ❤️

Dana had so many best friends, I am so lucky to have been one of them. I’ve loved her for so many years and I already miss her deeply. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She was just a wholesome girl that you just couldn’t help but love. We clicked immediately when we started working together. When she told me she was moving back to Tennessee, we both cried so hard
But we promised to talk all the time and we did. I will forever be thankful that God placed her in my life. I pray for John, her daddy and all of her family. They all were her heroes. ❤️

Where to begin, Dana was my best friend, my boo, from the moment I met her. Anyone who knew her would say the same thing. She had a way of lighting up a room with her smile and that laugh. I can still hear her laugh. There wasn’t a day that went by that I didn’t talk to her. My heart hurts but I take comfort in knowing that she is looking down on all of us. Dana was one of those rare people that if you meet them, your life is 10 times better for having known them. I love you Dana. Rest easy and I will see you again.

Dana was my coworker and friend. She was a bright light in my world and I love her with all my heart. She was a kindred spirit and brought happiness, humor and love to all she touched. There was never a day right up until the end that she did not ask what she could do to help me. There will never be another Dana. Now she is a guardian angel watching over us all and shining that special light on us. Until we meet again my friend. Love you and praying for her family.
