Daniel Ray Whitaker

Daniel Ray Whitaker, age 64 of Powell, unexpectantly passed away January 14. 2021. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Preceded in death by mother, Barbara Blanche Folden; father, Robert Whitaker; step-father, Clarence Folden. Survived by his devoted and loving wife of 45 years, Linda Whitaker; daughters, Susan (Steve) Blair, Kelly Whitaker and fiancé, Cesar Ferron, Kasey (Mike) Harris; Grandchildren, Kobey, Austin, and Sumer; Great-grandson, Wyatt; Sister, Pat (Jim) Barnes. Family will receive friends Monday at Weaver’s Chapel from 5:00-7:00 pm with service to follow. Rev. Don Ownby and Rev. Jacob Brooks officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday at 2:45 pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 3:00 pm interment. Condolences are welcome at weaverfuneralservices.com.
