Danny Joe Dodson

DODSON, DANNY J. - age 50 of South Knoxville, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 as the result of an automobile accident. He was an employee of House Hasson Hardware. Danny enjoyed league bowling, playing golf and following U.T. football and basketball. He was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Dora Dodson and Gertie Smith. He is survived by parents, Arthur and Betty Dodson; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Mark Carney of Washington State; brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Lisa Chambers Dodson of Maryville, Tennessee; nieces, Sarah and Amy Carney, great-niece, Kiari and great-nephew, James, all of Washington State; aunts and uncles, Barbara and Bill Valentine, Rebecca and Roy Valentine and Beulah Bales; several cousins; House Hasson friends and fellow workers, friends from Bike Athletic and many more. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville. A funeral service will follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Earl Dunn officiating. Interment will be at Forest Grove Church Cemetery, 7220 Hodges Ferry Road, Knoxville, Tennessee on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2:00pm.
