Danny Lynn Henderlight

Danny was a man who knew the meaning of hard work and service. Throughout his life, he wore many hats, including entrepreneur, business owner, mechanic, firefighter, EMS Professional Paramedic, and Sheriff's Deputy. He also proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Danny’s dedication to helping others and his willingness to work hard were qualities that defined him throughout his life.

He was a member of Flint Gap Baptist Church.

Danny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Anastasia Elizabeth Loveday Henderlight, and his six children: Christopher Henderlight, Daniel Henderlight, Xander Henderlight, Brody Henderlight, Bailey Walker, and Jordan Loveday, along with his late son, Andrew Henderlight. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Sue Henderlight; and brothers, David Henderlight and his wife, Laura, and Michael Henderlight and his wife, Susanne.

His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren. Danny is survived by his grandchildren Hailey, Heidi, Shane, Braxton, Scarlett, Graham, Reece, Boon, Jude, Jaxson, and Jazlyn, who will forever carry the love and memories they shared with their grandfather.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Danny E. Henderlight; his brothers, Johnnie Henderlight and Donnie Henderlight; and his son, Andrew Henderlight.

Those who knew Danny will remember him for his strong work ethic, his service to others, and, most importantly, the love he had for his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created with those he loved will remain forever.

Receiving of Family and Friends will be held at McCarty - Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37924 on September 8, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service, officiated by Rick Billingham. A Graveside Service will take place at Asbury Cemetery on September 9, 2026, at 10:00 am.
