Darlene W. Gentry

August 6, 1961December 1, 2019

Darlene Lynn Webb Gentry, age 58, of Knoxville, passed away December 1, 2019. Darlene was employed by Volunteers of America and Catholic charities where she was active in ministering to the homeless and children in need. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Darlene was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading. She was outgoing and loved meeting new people. Preceded in death by father, Richard Lynn Webb. She is survived by her mother, Norma Webb; daughter and son-in-law, Krisi Frazee and Stephen Ogle; son and daughter-in-law; Dakota and Amy Gentry; grandchildren, Sierra, Logan, Lilliana, Colten and Waylen; brothers, Steve Webb and Johnny Webb; several nieces, nephews and many loving friends. The family will receive friends 6-7 PM Thursday, December 5, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 706 Amerine Road, Maryville, TN 37804 with a sermon to follow at 7 PM. She was my best friend in High School. I still seen her now and again over the years loved her dearly. I will miss her. My heart goes out to her family so so sorry for your loss with deepest sympathy.
