Darrell Gene Cross

Darrell Gene Cross, born December 15, 1945, went to Heaven on January 21, 2023. He was an amazing father, a devoted husband, and a strong Christian. He was an Army Veteran and served in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Beverly Gayle Cross; beloved son, Darren; parents, Claude and Carrie Cross. He is survived by his daughters, Stacey (Frank), Gina (John), Kristi, and Bethany; grandchildren, Alex, Nicky (Kaitlyn), Kyler (Cheyenne), Gracey, Mason, Valerie, Jonah, Brodie, Jordan; great-grandchildren, Brycn, Aelin, and Owen; brother, Ronnie (Sharon), sisters; Mary Jane, Sharon, Janice and Rebecca; several nieces and nephews; sister and brothers-in-law, Sherry, Ronnie, and David; special friends, John Buckner, and Tommy Glenn. Special thanks to all the nurses on 4 South and U.T. Hospice for their loving care. Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow. Dear friend, Rev. Billy Bell officiating. Burial will be private.
