A man of unwavering faith and dedicated service, David proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division. Following his military service, he built a successful career at AT&T, retiring after 36 years of loyal employment.
David was known for his generous spirit and helping hands, always ready to fix whatever needed repair and assist neighbors in need. His passion for life was evident in everything he did, from tending to his garden to perfecting his golf game. He could often be found watching football games or golf tournaments, enjoying a fine cigar, or spending quality time with his beloved dogs.
As a loving husband, father, and "Papaw," David's greatest joy came from time spent with family. His warm presence and friendly nature made him not just a wonderful neighbor but a treasured friend to many in his community.
He leaves behind a legacy of service, kindness, and devotion that will be cherished by all who knew him.
