David Allen Monday

David Allen Monday, born on September 7, 1952, passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 73. David was a resident of Knoxville, Tennessee. He was multi-talented and accomplished anything he put his mind to.

Preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Laura Monday; brothers: Oliver Reece Monday, Jr., Andrew Franklin Monday, Darrell Lynn Monday, and James Albert Monday.

David is survived by his son, David Allen Monday, Jr.; daughter, Patti "Missy" Pinkston (Chris); sisters, April Cox, Myrtle Monday, and Martha Stiles; brother, Johnny Wade Monday; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

At David's request, a private graveside service will be held at Asbury Cemetery.
