David Stephens of Heiskell, Tennessee departed his earthly body on September 2, 2023. He was born on August 17, 1952 and graduated from Powell High School in 1970. David retired from Barku Plastics in 2020, prior to that he worked at P and S Plastics. He was a member of the Knoxville Moose Lodge 1560 and loved Tuesday Oldies night. Preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Marian Stephens; wife, Sheila Stephens and sister, Jennifer Sharp. Survived by brother-in-law, Larry Sharp; niece, Courtney Jones (Avery and Reese); nephew, Brian sharp (Melissa, Finnegan, Delaney Anne); first cousins, Teresa Cooper (Richie) Jimmy Cooper (Barbara) In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Breast Connect (Breastconnect.org) a Knoxville based non-profit that uses 100 % of their gifts to directly support cancer patients, survivors, and their loved ones.
