Deanna was a strong woman who I always looked up to. She taught me many things as a young woman. I admired her strength and courage. I’ll never forget her cucumber sandwiches. They were my favorite. I will always carry her in my heart!

I feel anything good that was going on in our lives , Deanna was the center of it. Holidays, weddings and birthdays - she was always there with a helping hand or a plate of food. Thank you for all the christmas' and thanksgiving dinners that you made sure we were a part of. Always in our hearts

I am so sorry for your loss. Larry talked about Pud so many times and how she was such a wonderful person and friend to him. He said he probably wouldn’t have graduated from high school without her help. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My heart aches with the passing of Deanna. She was that person who cared about everyone. My memories with her go back to elementary school when we shared growing up through high school. She was always so kind to me and others all her life. She was the kind of person that made you feel good and always positive. When we would see each other after an absence of time, she made you feel as we had just seen each other the day before. She made sure we stayed connected all these years, just as she did with many of our classmates. I was so fortunate to be able to spend time with her and her family when I moved back to Knoxville. We went to Lady Vols games and a special trip to Cades Cove with her granddaughter which I will cherish because Deanna smiled that entire time. I feel privileged to become friends with her son Josh and daughter Stephanie, who are as caring as their mother. I will miss you dear friend

Deanna was the best friend a person could have. We had so many wonderful trips together. She always made me feel that I was part of her family and always welcome in her home. She was such a generous and caring person and had so many friends. I will miss her terribly.
She fought hard and bravely. The class of 70 will miss her hard work and organizational skills. May she rest in peace.

Deanna will always be Faye to me, and she will always be my favorite Faye. She was sassy and always made me smile. She quickly became one of my favorite people. Faye, Steph, and Josh became an extension to our family. I will always cherish my memories of Sunday night choir performances and dinner afterwards. I remember swimming with them, watching football games with them, and just laughing and having fun. Faye was a part of so many important times in my life. She was my wedding coordinator and did an amazing job. Her attention to detail and keeping me calm was awesome. She knew my favorites and made sure I had my favorite snacks for after the reception.
She threw my baby shower for my son, Cooper. She created my love of the Dept. 56 Snow Village. She was hilarious, kind, and generous. I loved her and will greatly miss her.
