Debbie E. Henderson, age 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She dedicated 40 years of her life to caring for others as a dental assistant, where her gentle touch and warm smile comforted countless patients throughout her distinguished career.
Beyond her professional life, Debbie found joy and peace in her garden, where she nurtured beautiful flowers that reflected her own vibrant spirit. Her grandchildren held an especially cherished place in her heart. Debbie took immense pride in their accomplishments and found her greatest happiness in family gatherings, where her laughter rang out the loudest and her hugs lasted the longest. Her legacy lives on in the beautiful memories she created, the lives she touched through her work, and the loving family she nurtured.
Preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Grace England; brother, David England and brother-in-law, Don Henderson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Gary Henderson; son, Ben Henderson (Tiffany) daughter, Lori Hobbs (Justin); grandchildren: Ava, Henry, Lyla and Max; sister-in-law, Cheryl Henderson and many extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 22, 2025, between the hours of 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN with a service to follow at 7:00 PM officiated by Rev. Kevin Anderson. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home at noon, Friday, May 23, 2025, to go in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN for a 1:00 PM Interment Service.
