Debbie,
The world changed drastically the moment you left. The air was heavier, the sun shine felt different and there was a certain emptiness that was apparent.
Growing up Brogdon is a blessing I would never trade, a Love some will never know. Thank you for being so wonderful to us all. Thank you for being there for everyone and taking over for Granny when she passed.
I can't imagine Heaven could possibly be any more beautiful , until you walked in.❤ Always, your niece Dixie

To my sweet granny,

Thank you for always being the sunshine on everyone’s cloudy day. Thank you for teaching me to see the light in every situation, and every person even when it appears pretty dark. Thank you for believing in people that others had given up on. Thank you for taking your time to remember every detail when you were telling me a long story about your past. Thank you for being that person that would talk to me on my way home from work even if you were napping, thank you for always being someone I could depend on no matter what.

You were the most beautiful human on earth, and I know you are the most beautiful angel. I know you would want me to be happy, and most of all the best mother I can be. So i will do that, but I will forever count the days until I see your sweet face again.

After I lost my Grandmother aunt Deb was like a surrogate Granny. She was always there for me whenever I stopped by. After Tim passed I did not call her because I did not know what to say a regret I will carry forever. She was always there for everyone she would give you the shirt off her back and her last cigarette without complaint. She was an amazing person and I will never forget her. I wish I could have visited her at least one more time before she left.

Like a mother to my dad, leaving her like a grandmother to me, Aunt Debby your passing hurts so deep. I love you and although I know you are going to a better place, I can’t help but cry, because this world is will be a much sadder place without you. 😔
