I remember her beaming smile as she watched and listened to her beautiful grandchildren sing at Highland Presbyterian Church directed by her daughter, Melissa. Such beautiful love!

I have such good memories of Diane when we were children at Sans Souci Baptist  Church and on through our school years at Parker High. She was always kind  to those around her.

Diane and her family lived behind us in Sans Souci back in the day. Went to Sans Souci  elementary and junior high. Then on to PHS. Always thought the world of her. I know she will be missed. 🙏🙏🙏

Diane was my sweet friend since our youth. There has never been a kinder person. It was always a delight for my Mother and me to visit her and her Mother. We would all do the Charleston when her brother, Joe,  played songs like “Yes Sir, That’s My Baby”.  I am heartbroken that she was taken from the family that was her world. I know they adore her and will miss her terribly. John was her rock and her soul mate and she was so proud of her children and grandchildren. May God Bless you all and may you find Peace in your wonderful memories until you are reunited. ❤️🙏

I've known Diane almost my whole life. Pauline Jean Langley King was married to my uncle Paul King and they had 2 daughters, Geri & Sandra, who grew up in California. When Sandra lived here with my Aunt Bertie & Uncle Duck in 1960 Diane spent a lot of time with Sandra and I got to know her. She was so sweet and kind.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know all her family will miss her. You all are in my prayers.

You are my heart, and every trait I have from being strong to being loving comes from you. I have so many beautiful memories of you, and I will cherish them forever. I can’t pick one specific memory to share with everyone so I’ll just say a few things that make me smile when I think of you.

Every phone call with you slowed down time. It didn’t make a difference if I was having a tough day or a great day. While speaking to you time would just stop and everything happening in the world would leave my mind. We would joke around, laugh, and just focus on our connection to each other. Besides your warm loving hugs, or seeing you smile, this was the most comforting and relaxing thing you did for me while I was hundreds or thousands of miles away.

You were my biggest fan. From sporting events to deployments, you were always there cheering me on. You have no idea how special you made me feel. 

You raised me to be a strong man; A man who dedicates his life to God, his Family, and his Country. 

I miss you so much, but I take comfort in the notion that you’re here with me always. I feel your love, will remember all the advice you gave me, and as you watch over my growing family, I will continue to make you proud.

You watch over all of us in Heaven, and I’ll watch over all of us down here. You were the most amazing mother in the world, and I am so proud of you. Thank you for everything. We will continue your legacy, and I’m so grateful that you were able to see me as a father. You had so much love for Lilah, and it made me so happy seeing you hold her. Lilah Diane, She’s something right. So precious you would say. Well, she will know everything about you.

Again, you are my heart, my love, and I can’t wait to be with you again. 

P.S. Ill keep everyone in line. You know it. I know it. Everybody knows it. I have no problem flattening someone like a pancake or flitter. lol

Also know she has been reunited with her brothers and sister as well as her parents in Heaven. And she will always look out for you all. I love you Diane, always have and always will. God bless you.

Diane was not only the grandmother to my beautiful little girl Lilah but she played a mother role in my life . From correcting my wrong doings , to praising my good actions. She always said I was like a daughter to her (the misbehaving one lol) and she always tried her best to guide me on doing the right things.  Although I was always very hard headed . She also taught me how to care for a baby girl , since Lilah is my first girl. She was there from the start and she was the best grandmother anyone can ask for . Her gifts and traditions were unique . Diane no one could ever replace your spot . I loved seeing you happy when I did your make up . You looked astonishing and you wowed Johnny. You sure was beautiful in and out. I will make sure my daughter knows how special she was to you and what a beautiful soul you had . You held no grudge , you were pure, forgiving and loving . Sorry for being a pain some times and thank you for being there for us at all times . I know you wanted Lilah to be in a beauty pageant , so I’ll do my best to convince her on that . Im glad God gave us the chance to watch you hold her close to your heart. She now has an angel to watch her from above. We will always love you and remember you .  Until we meet again  Diane.
