Don Robert Kaiser was born February 4, 1932 in Montoursville, PA. He graduated from Montoursville High School in 1950. Don was undoubtedly one of the best athletes to graduate from Montoursville High School. He started out by learning the fundamentals in his freshman year and very successfully put them to use by being on all the varsity teams in the last three years. His hard playing and excellent passing in football won him a berth on the all-county team. Don’s brilliant basketball playing also put him in several all-star games. He excelled in baseball as a pitcher and always came through in a pinch. With the end of his high school education in sight, his worthiness in sports is shown in the fact that several colleges were interested in him. Don had an appointment to Annapolis but chose to enter the Navy in January of 1952. Don worked for IBM Corporation for 34 years and retired. Survived by his wife of seventy years, Jacque Kaiser; daughter, Robin Bilbrey and husband Scott Bilbrey; son, Mark Kaiser and wife Tami Kaiser; grandchildren, Tiffany and Austin Bilbrey, Bret and Todd Kaiser and great-grandson, Cameron Bilbrey. Visitation will be Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Weaver Funeral Home from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Condolences are welcome at weaverfuneralservices.com
