Catherine,

I just found about Don. We worked together at Lane Coulter before he went to work for Chattanooga Funeral Home. I have some great memories of our time together. I’m so sorry that I couldn’t come for the services. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers…

Don Don

Don Don, you were such a strong, funny, energetic, passionate man. Your matching bow ties and scarves will never be forgotten. I think back to a year ago when you had me listen to your visitation music playlist you had been creating. That day you made me cry so hard. Cancer sucks! That is all… it’s taken too many important people in my life away. But damn man, you never gave up. Thank you for being my adopted parents. Thank you for making the oh so amazing “uterus” cake for my crazy hysterectomy party. That cake was delish! You always knew how to party and bring joy to everyone’s life you met. Don Don my friend, you will be missed by so many. I always joke with Addison that I’m the favorite adopted daughter since I’m local. Thank you for being an amazing inspiration in my life and career. I love you dearly and will miss you like crazy.

We were so blessed to have our daughter, Rachel, marry Don and Catherine’s son Addison. My favorite memories are dancing at the kids’ wedding and being together to celebrate the Christening of our 2 Grandbabies. Don was so much fun, offered words of wisdom when needed, was a devoted husband to sweet Catherine, and was a wonderful father to our son in law , Addison. Don you will be greatly missed! Please continue to pray for us all until the day we join you in Heaven! Much love, Mike and Darlene Nevle

I had the honor of working with Don at Highland Memorial. His kindness and loving spirit touched everyone he met. His passion for life and the dignity in which he handled his illness should inspire us all to be better in our walk through life. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this time.

My best memory of Don Musick is that he found joy in celebrating everything. Every holiday had its own party complete with decorations. No doubt he is celebrating in Heaven - the biggest event of all! ❤️

I met Don when he worked at the funeral when a loved one passed away. He drove the family car from
The funeral home to the cemetery; he was so kind and reverend, while we were all just grieving. I recall, after the graveside service, we returned to the funeral home in the family car and Don tried his best to just have regular conversations with me and my brother to take our mind off our grief, if just for a few miles back to the funeral home. That has always stuck with me and I have always loved him for that and knew him to be a good man. Prayers to Catherine, family, friends, and Elks that had the honor to know him. You will be missed Don. 💜💜🙏🏼
