Donald Lee Taylor 4/2/1956 - 12/26/2018

Donnie was called home to be with the Lord on December 26, 2018 after a tiring battle with cancer. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Donnie loved to go fishing and always looked forward to taking his kids and grandchildren fishing with him. He is preceded in death by parents, Donald and Shirley Taylor; brother, Ronnie Taylor. Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Teresa Taylor; son, James and wife Melissa Lane; daughters, Tracy Elliott, Nettie and husband Harold Spencer; grandchildren, Conner and William Stephenson, Eliana and Mya Lane and Danielle Dunn; brothers, Arnold Taylor, Mike and wife Kristi Taylor; sister, Sharon and husband Charles Breeden; sisters in-law, Vickie and husband Danny Dunn, Terri and husband Donald Dunn; nephews, Michael Taylor, Ronnie Taylor, Jonathon Taylor and Jason Breeden; niece, Felicia Savoni; as well as a host of cousins and extended family. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 31st from 6-8 pm at Berry Highland South Funeral Home.

I only knew Donnie for a short time. I wish I had longer to get to know him better.
