Donna Faye Arp, 79, of Seymour, Tennessee, went to be with The Lord and her son Tim on June 14, 2026. Born September 12, 1946, Donna will be remembered as a beloved and cherished presence—devoted in the ways that mattered most, kind-hearted in spirit, and patient in the steady care she showed to those around her.
Donna studied at Knoxville Business College and built a career in office administration, bringing diligence and quiet reliability to her work. Her devotion was also evident in the life she built with her family, including 59 years of marriage to her husband, David M. Arp.
She found deep enjoyment in simple, meaningful pleasures. She loved camping and formed lifelong friendships at Mountain Lakes Resorts in Alabama. She also enjoyed traveling, liked to read, and took pleasure in playing card games—moments that reflected her gentle warmth and the calm joy she brought to everyday life. She was a member of The Chapel @ Mountain Lakes Resort.
Donna was preceded in death by her father, Conley Lloyd Brantley; her mother, Carrie Juanita Braden Brantley; her son, Timothy David Arp; her brother, Denis Brantley.
She is survived by her loving husband, David M. Arp; her sister, Janice Satterfield; and One Niece and Several Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday June 21, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and a Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 pm at Berry Highland South Funeral Home, in the Magnolia Chapel, at 9010 E Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920.
A Graveside Service will be held on June 22, 2026, at 11:00 am at Berry Highland South, Garden of Valor, 9010 E Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920. Services will be officiated by Rev. Freddy Gibson.
