

Doris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. She was a faithful member of Ball Road Missionary Baptist Church, where she found strength and comfort in her faith. She worked for Rice Oldsmobile for several years before moving on to become a nurse. Doris devoted twenty years in the nursing profession and retired from Summit Medical Group.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertie E. Clark, and brothers Doug Sise, Ernest and David Clark.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Jimmy Duncan; son, Jeff Duncan (Amy Jo); daughters, Teresa Darnbush (Randy), and Kelly Winston; grandchildren, Chris Darnbush (Jenna), Caitlin VanZant (Steven), Kayleigh Duncan, and Ruby Winston; great-grandchildren, CJ Darnbush and Tatum Raye Darnbush; brother, Sam Clark (Mary); and sister Judith Ann Vaulton (John).
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedysis hospice and to Caitlin VanZant and Kelly Winston for their loving care.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Edgewood Cemetery.
