Warren, Doris Ann, age 69, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday July 27, 2013 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by: grandson Joseph Brown and parents Clyde and Dicie Wilson; and brothers Virgil Hemphill and Jesse Wilson. Survivors include: son Donnie Brown; daughters: Linda and husband Bob Thomas, Debbie and husband Rickey Reed, Barbara Morgan, Shirley and husband Jerry Bates, and Cindy Reed; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother Charlie Hemphill; and sisters Sue Green and Bobbie and husband Jerry Conner. The family will receive friends on Monday July 29th from 6-8pm at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home, with the service to follow at 8:00pm, Rev. Buddy Garland officiating.
