Dorothy Cooper, age 79, our dear sweet angel who art in Heaven passed away Monday, June 3, 2013 at her home in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA. She was formerly of Knoxville. Member of the Church Of God of the Union Assembly. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Patty Cooper; daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Mike Oliver; grandchildren, Robert Cooper, Randy Shelton, Courtney Cooper and Rebecca Cooper; great-grandchild, David Allen Carpenter; brothers, Alonzo and Milton Brummett; sister, Arzettia Redwine; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm. Brothers Pratt Hughes and David Simmons officiating.
