Dorothy McMahan passed away peacefully accompanied by loving family on the afternoon of January 3rd, 2026. Known as Dottie and Dot by those she cared for, Dorothy never met a stranger. She helped those she could and always thought of others before herself. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Gary, and an infant daughter. She is survived by her three sons, Ricky, Jason, and Tommy; four grandchildren, Kenneth, Shelby, Lucas, and Katie; two great-grandchildren, Amelia and John, sister, Mary Jo Gibson; as well as a host of close family and friends. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Tuesday, Jan. 6th at Weaver Funeral Home with a service to follow at 7 pm.
