Elizabeth Collins Carter born April 2, 1930, went to her Heavenly home August 14, 2021. Elizabeth was a lifetime member of Belmont Heights Baptist Church. She was a retired nurse from Baptist Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Thelma Collins; her husband, William Carter; sons, Douglas, Jeffrey and Billy Carter. She is survived by daughter, Melody Fain; grandchildren, Carl and Crystal Fain, Bambi, Doug, Jeffrey, Jessica, Ashley and Johnny Carter; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Wednesday at Belmont Heights Baptist Church with the service to follow at 7 pm. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Thursday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11 am interment. www.weaverfuneralservices.com.
