Elizabeth (Libby) Mays, age 85, went home to be with her Lord on December 10, 2021, surrounded by her family in her home. Libby was a member of South Point Church, formerly Gospel Baptist Church, on Avenue A. Libby is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Earl Mays; daughter, Vicki Nelson; son-in-law, William Nelson; son, Randy Mays; daughter-in-law, Tammy Mays; grandchildren: Nathan Nelson, April Nelson, Elizabeth (Elise) Nelson Atchley, Cory Atchley, Jason Mays, Amy Mays, Bailey Mays; as well as 6 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, December 13, 2021 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Bryan Hair officiating.
