Ellen Rochelle Moses, born on January 6, 1968, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 58, to be with her heavenly Father. Ellen was a beloved, compassionate, devoted, faithful, hard-working, kind-hearted, and loyal individual who touched the lives of many.
Ellen graduated from Campbell County High School and furthered her education at TCAT Jacksboro public college. She was married to Joey Steven Moses for 10 years, a testament to her loving and loyal nature.
Ellen was a resident of Seymour, Tennessee, where she enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, and was a dedicated U.T. fan. She also had a passion for genealogy, exploring her family roots with great interest.
She is survived by her son, Stewart Gross, and her sister, Angie Wilson Rogers (Paul). She was predeceased by her father, George Wilson, her mother, Effie Wilson, and her sister, Jewel Walden.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff on the 8th and 9th floor at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, as well as friends and family who prayed for Ellen during her time of need.
Visitation will be held on January 27, 2026, at 5:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at 7:00 pm A graveside service and interment will take place on January 28, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Ellen's memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
