Elmer Lee Gray, age 69, of South Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He attended Security Door Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his mom, dad, and one brother. Elmer is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Gray; five children; five grandchildren; and one brother. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. Kris Witt and Rev. Carl McGill officiating. Family and friends will meet at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway at 9:30 AM Friday, February 17, 2017 for the interment.
