Ernest Steven Browning

Ernest Steven Browning, age 69, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Steve was born July 12, 1952 in Knoxville, Tennessee and was a graduate of Doyle High School After graduation he attended Knoxville Business College. He was a veteran of the US Army and served overseas in Germany. He was employed by the University of Tennessee in Stadium maintenance.

Preceded in death by parents, Ernest William Browning and Eula Mae Browning, brother, Richard Browning; wives, Carolyn Sue Morgan Browning who passed in 1997 and Patricia Curlew Browning who passed in 2016.

Steve is survived by his sons, Ernest Steven Browning, Jr. and wife Melinda and Christopher Michael Browning; several grandchildren; sisters, Linda Richey, Gail Davis; brothers, Bill Browning and Mark Browning; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service 11 am Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Berry Highland South Cemetery. Rev. Dave Strickler of Lake Hills Presbyterian Church officiating. Full military honors will be rendered by the US Army and Pigeon Forge Honor Guard at the graveside.
