He is preceded in death by his parents Estel and Bonnie Sexton, his wife Emilee and many other relatives and friends.
He is survived by his siblings, Tom Sexton and Evelyn Hayes; children, Judith Sexton, Jerre Cashion (John), Deborah Neace (Gary), Dr. Michael Sexton (Monique), Tim Tittle; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He accomplished many things during his life that included; a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran, an author, playwright, an actor, and a diesel mechanic instructor.
He was a member of Redemption Christian Church International where he also served as their maintenance man. He studied the Bible faithfully and enjoyed sharing the gospel.
The family will receive friends on March 22, 2025 from 11am to 1pm, in the Magnolia Chapel at Berry Highland South, 9010 E. Simpson Rd., Knoxville, TN 37920. A graveside service will immediately follow in the Garden of Peace, with Dr. Michael Sexton and Reverend John Cashion officiating.
